Increased police presence after stabbing inside takeaway in Hull

There is due to be an increased police presence this weekend in the Springbank area of Hull following a stabbing inside a takeaway.
A 28 year old man was taken to hospital after suffering slash wounds to his neck and shoulder in the incident at around 5.20pm last night.
His injuries are not thought to be serious.
A man who is believed to have fled the scene.
Detective Inspector Richard Mills said: “I understand an incident of this nature will be concerning for the local community; however, I want to offer my reassurance that we believe this to be an incident between individuals known to each other.
“A scene guard was put in place whilst officers carried out lines of enquiry to establish the full circumstances, but it has since been removed.
“Enquiries continue to identify those involved, and locals to the area can expect to see an increased police presence over the weekend, providing additional reassurance to residents whilst our investigation continues.
“I would encourage anyone with any information, concerns, or CCTV footage from around the time the incident occurred to please come and speak to us.
