A man has been charged after Police Dog Lottie was deployed following reports of a burglary in progress at an unoccupied property on Middlesex Road in Hull.

Ashley Timpson, 42-years-old, of Deben Grove in Hull has been charged with burglary with intent to steal and has been remanded into custody to appear at Hull Magistrates Court this morning (Monday, 18 August).

It is reported a man forced entry into an unoccupied property causing damage to windows before allegedly fleeing the scene at around 7.30pm on Friday (15 August).

Police Dog Lottie was deployed, and a man was subsequently detained nearby on Saltshouse Road.
