Tributes paid to dad who died in Holme Road crash

The family of a man who died in a crash in Holme-on-Spalding-Moor have paid tribute to him.

Officers say a blue Land Rover collided with a white Ford Transit van that was travelling in the opposite direction on Sunday afternoon (18th January).

27-year-old Patrick Shaughnessy and a 55-year-old man were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the van is believed to have life changing injuries.

In a statement, Patrick's family said, “Patrick was a deeply loved son, grandson and proud new daddy taken from us far too soon.

“His kindness, laughter and fierce love for his family and friends will be carried in our hearts forever. Rest In Peace ❤️ Miss you, sithee xxx”
