A new road underpass in Hull is set to open to traffic on the morning of 23rd March 2026.

During the weekend preceding the opening, from 20th to 22nd March, traffic management will start to be removed.

Once operational, the underpass will connect entry and exit slip roads and Commercial Road to Ferensway.

Work started in 2020 on the project to build a new split-level junction that involved lowering part of the road through an underpass.

Drivers are encouraged to exercise caution as they adjust to the new road layout and signage.
