NatWest reverses decision and offers refunds to Legacy funeral plan victims
Emma Hardy MP pushes for refunds for affected Hull constituents
Emma Hardy, MP for Hull West and Haltemprice, has announced that NatWest will now provide refunds to victims who were sold fraudulent funeral plans by Legacy after initially declining to do so.
The decision from NatWest comes as a result of Hardy's persistent efforts to advocate for victims of the scam.

Emma Hardy is also working to secure similar responses from other banks.
She is encouraging individuals who purchased fraudulent funeral plans through Legacy using debit, credit, or cheques, and have not yet received refunds, to get in touch with her if she is their MP.
Hardy said that she is happy to support her constituents directly to ensure they receive any refunds they may be entitled to.
For individuals living outside her constituency, Hardy advises contacting their own MP for similar support.
Her initiative aims to bring justice to those affected by the Legacy funeral plan fraud and serves as a reminder that support is available.
Anyone impacted is being encouraged to reach out for help and take advantage of the support Hardy and other MPs can offer.
