Man seriously injured after collision in Hull

An investigation is getting underway after a collision in Hull last night (3/7/26).

Police were called to Raich Carter Way, after a car and cyclist collided.

A 40-year-old man has been taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.

A Police statement said: "Officers are appealing for information following reports of a road traffic collision on Raich Carter Way in Hull at around 11.59pm yesterday evening (Friday, 3 July 2026).

"It was reported a silver Vauxhall Mokka and a cyclist collided whilst travelling eastbound on Raich Carter Way.

"Emergency services attended the scene and the cyclist, a 40-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are thought to be life threatening at this time.

"Anyone who witnessed the collision, has dash camera footage, or has any other information about the incident, is urged to please call us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 692 of the 3 July."
