Immingham man charged after drugs warrant leads to illegal plant discovery
Suspected cannabis and unsafe electricity use found at Pelham Road property
A series of police activities aimed at addressing illegal drug operations in North East Lincolnshire resulted in the arrest and charging of a man in Immingham.
Officers conducted a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant on Pelham Road at around 8.25am on Tuesday, 21st July 2026, following intelligence reports suggesting illicit activities at the location.
Upon entering the property, law enforcement discovered a number of suspected cannabis plants, indicating the production of a controlled Class B substance.
Additionally, evidence of dangerous electricity abstraction was identified, shedding light on the operational hazards associated with illegal grow houses.
Jurgen Doma, a 28-year-old man with no fixed address, was charged with the production of a Class B drug and unauthorised electricity abstraction.
He has been remanded into custody and is set to appear before Grimsby Magistrates' Court at a later date to face the charges.
Police also arrested another 28-year-old man found at the scene in connection with the investigation, reflecting ongoing efforts to dismantle local drug networks.
