Man named by family after fatal collision on A15

A 56-year-old man, who died after a fatal road traffic collision on the A15 earlier this week (Monday, 12 January), has been named by family as Andrew Bontoft.

Andrew’s family is being supported by specially trained officers and has requested privacy at this difficult time.

It is reported that at around 9.50am, a HGV travelling on the northbound carriageway collided with a pedestrian, near to the Horkstow Road overhead.

Emergency services attended, but the pedestrian, Andrew, sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
