Man dies following A63 crash near Brough
A 73-year-old man has died following the single-vehicle collision
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 73-year-old man died following a single-vehicle collision on the A63 near Brough yesterday morning (9 November).
Emergency services were called at around 8.30am after reports that a silver Toyota C-HR, travelling westbound between the Brough and Melton junctions, had collided with the central reservation barrier.
The driver was taken to hospital for treatment but sadly died a short time later.
His family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
Officers from Humberside Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dashcam or CCTV footage from the area around the time of the collision, to come forward.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has footage from the area at the time to please get in touch.”
