Man arrested in Scunthorpe after discovery of counterfeit currency

Officers seize suspected Class B drugs during warrant execution

A 27-year-old man has been arrested in Scunthorpe after police executed a warrant on Dowse Avenue.

The officers discovered approximately £30,000 in suspected counterfeit currency during the search, along with £3,000 in cash and a quantity of what is believed to be Class B drugs.

The arrested man is suspected of producing counterfeit currency and possessing a controlled Class B drug.

He has been released on bail as investigations continue.
