Family tribute
Paying tribute to Kath, her family said: “Kath was the centre of our family a wonderful mum, our much loved ‘Baba’ to her three grandchildren, and a truly amazing sister.
"She spent her life caring for others, first as a nurse and later running her own care home, always putting everyone else before herself. Even at 81 she was full of energy, independent and always immaculate just how we all knew her.
"She loved animals, treasured her family, and loved by friends, neighbours and everyone who met her.
"Our hearts are completely broken, and we will miss her more than words can ever say.”
