Hull to host start of 2026 Lloyds Tour of Britain Men stage
The Stage Three route has been revealed
Hull will host the start of Stage Three of the 2026 Lloyds Tour of Britain Men this September.
The 194.1km stage starts on Friday 4 September.
It begins at East Park before heading through east Hull and into the East coast, passing through places including Withernsea, Hornsea, Driffield and Beverley, where riders will finish after completing a 16-kilometre circuit.
Councillor Jackie Dad, deputy leader and portfolio holder for culture at Hull City Council, said: “From the heart of East Park to the open roads of East Yorkshire, this route is going to be a spectacular sight.
“Starting Stage 3 of the Lloyds Tour of Britain in our very own East Park is a brilliant choice; it’s a jewel in our city’s crown and the perfect, iconic backdrop for such a prestigious event.
“We can’t wait to see the park filled with families, local fans, and visitors, all gathered to cheer on the peloton as they head out of Hull. It’s going to be an unforgettable atmosphere.”
The five-stage race covers almost 900 kilometres (878.8km), starting in Lincolnshire before travelling through Yorkshire and finishing in the Scottish Borders.
