Karl Turner MP has expressed serious concerns following news that East Park Primary in Hull will be without a school crossing patrol on Ings Road until after the Easter half term.

Ings Road is noted as a busy route, and the absence of a crossing patrol poses significant risks for children and their families seeking safe passage to and from school.

Turner highlighted that parents expect essential safety measures, such as school crossing patrols, particularly on roads experiencing high traffic volumes.

He deemed the two-week vacancy in this position an unacceptable risk that requires immediate attention.

To address these concerns, Turner has urgently contacted Hull City Council requesting an investigation into the situation.

He reassured residents that updates will be provided once a response is received.
