Hull man charged over bin fires and vehicle damage

Charges have been brought against a man from Hull in connection with reports of several bin fires and damage to vehicles on Staines Close, in Hull, between Sunday, 29 March, and Sunday, 12 April 2026.

Jordan Murray, 28, from Grasby Road in Hull has been charged with arson with recklessness to endanger life, arson and criminal damage. In custody and during a search, class B drugs were also discovered, leading Murray to receive a further charge for possession of class B drugs.

He has been remanded into custody, to appear back at Hull Crown Court on Friday, 15 May 2026.
