Hull KR captain sees massive privilege in global rugby league stage

Hull KR is gearing up for a significant showdown against Brisbane Broncos in the World Club Challenge tonight.

Captain Elliot Minchella expressed his excitement about representing Hull and the Super League on such a prestigious platform.

Minchella acknowledged the immense responsibility involved, stating: "It's a massive privilege to be fair, to be involved in this game and to be able to represent Hull as a city on this stage, but also the Super league going up against the leagues best team."

He added, "It comes with huge responsibility, but one that I'm really looking forward to and a massive privilege to be involved in the week. It's very similar to grand final week or a Challenge Cup final.

"We're hoping that this one is another great week, but we understand that the task ahead of us is a big one. But we're looking forward to i,t and we're excited."

Minchella emphasised the importance of showcasing a British performance that embodies grit and toughness.

He explained, "I think we're representing all of the UK and the Super League. We've got a responsibility to put our best foot forward and go after that."

"We've got to nail all those effort areas and be a tough team to break down and represent the competition in that way, and that's what we intend to do."

The World Club Challenge provides Hull KR with the opportunity not only to compete against one of Australia's top rugby teams but also to shine on an international stage.
