Man appears in court after knife assault in Hull

Charges include wounding with intent and possession offences

A 40-year-old man is appearing in Hull Magistrates Court today following a serious knife-related assault on Carr Lane in Hull last Sunday (23 August).

Karl Patrick, of Buckingham Street, Hull, faces charges of section 18 wounding with intent, possession of a knife in a public place, and possession of a class B drug.

The incident was reported to have occurred at around 4.30am when a man was seriously injured with stab wounds inside a commercial premises on Carr Lane.

Patrick has been remanded into custody as he awaits his court appearance.
