Man arrested in Hull after property damage and evading police

A 47-year-old man has been arrested in Hull after allegedly causing damage to windows and evading police.

Officers received reports of the damaged property and quickly traced the suspect's vehicle to the Biggin Avenue area.

The driver reportedly collided with a barrier before fleeing the scene on foot.

He was located and detained after a swift search by officers.

No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.

The man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, dangerous driving, failing to stop following a road traffic collision, driving whilst unfit, and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.

He remains in police custody while investigations continue.
