Half a million pound roadworks starting near Pocklington
Five roads in Nunburnholme and Warter will be upgraded, with work starting next week and lasting around seven weeks.
Essential road upgrades are getting underway in Nunburnholme and Warter, with East Riding Council investing £550,000 in new surfaces and drainage.
The project kicks off on Monday (9 March) and is expected to take seven weeks, closing several village roads to through traffic.
Diversions will be clearly marked, but access for residents, deliveries and bin collections will stay in place.
The council’s own team is carrying out the work and is thanking locals for bearing with the disruption.
