Beverley man charged after attempting to start vehicle under the influence
Daniel Tyler faces court after failing breath test and lacking insurance
Daniel Tyler, 46, from Wood Lane, Beverley, has been charged after police suspected him of being under the influence while attempting to start a vehicle on Lairgate in Beverley.
The incident occurred on Sunday, 6th September, when officers requested Tyler take a roadside breathalyser test, which he failed by blowing a reading of 148.
In addition to being charged with being in charge of a motor vehicle under the influence, Tyler is also facing charges of driving without insurance.
Following his arrest, Tyler has been remanded into custody and is set to appear at Hull Magistrates Court this morning, Tuesday, 8th September.
The charges come as a stark reminder of the importance of adhering to legal requirements and maintaining responsible driving practices.
