Four boys under the age of 15 have been arrested following damage to local business premises in Grimsby including one incident where a member of staff was assaulted.

It follows reports a group of boys stole items, damaged windows and spray painted walls.

The four aged 14, 12 and two 11-year-olds have been arrested on suspicion of offences including criminal damage.

A Humberside police spokesperson said, "Officers were called to numerous reports of criminal damage to several business premises on Wellington Street, Mary Street, St James’ Square, Durban Road, Cartergate, and Welholme Road in Grimsby between Saturday, 11 October 2025 and Thursday, 30 October 2025.
