Four men arrested after Beverley fight

Four men have been arrested, after officers were called to an altercation on Coltman Avenue, Beverley, yesterday (Monday, 10 August 2026).
At around 11.30am, police received reports of a fight between four men, believed to be known to each other, involving hammers and knives, before they allegedly fled the scene in a car.
A 22 year-old man was located on Coltman Avenue and taken to hospital, for treatment to minor injuries. He was then arrested on suspicion of affray. He has since been released on conditional bail.
The Armed Response Team was deployed and spotted a vehicle, matching the descriptio, on Quayle’s Mews, Hornsea, where three men were located and detained.
Two 23 year-old men and a 38 year-old man were all arrested, on suspicion of affray.
They have since been released on conditional bail, while inquiries are ongoing.
