Driver seriously injured in Hornsea collision

Police are asking for witnesses, after a serious crash in Hornsea.
Officers were called to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Hull Road in Hornsea, yesterday (Wednesday, 8 October 2025).
At around 3.35pm, a grey Volvo and a blue Land Rover were reported to have collided.
Emergency services attended and the driver of the Land Rover was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
The road was closed, to allow emergency services to work safely and has since been re-opened.
