Family tribute to biker killed in Wetwang crash
Douglas Noble is called "a loving father and friend" in a statement
The family of 51-year-old Douglas Noble has paid tribute to him following his death after a collision in Wetwang.
Douglas sustained life-threatening injuries when his red Honda motorbike collided with a silver Kia Rio on the A166 York Road at the junction with the B1248 on Boxing Day
Emergency services attended the incident at around 1.30pm on Friday afternoon, and Douglas was taken to hospital for treatment where he died on Saturday.
Speaking about Douglas, his family said:
“Douglas was a loving son, a father of two and a friend to many.
“We take solace in the fact that Douglas had spent an afternoon doing what he loved, out riding his bike with his friends.
“He will be missed dearly by his entire family and we ask for privacy while we come to terms with our loss.”
Douglas’s family is being supported by specially trained police officers.
