Cranswick staff in Hull at risk of redundancy
The company employs around a thousand people at its factory in the city
Cranswick Country Foods has confirmed dozens of its staff in Hull are at risk of redundancy.
Changes are being made to the structure of its business at its site in the Sutton Fields Industrial Estate.
The company says it understands this is a very difficult time for those affected - and it's providing support.
In a statement a Cranswick spokesperson said:
“Due to a change in the structure of the business at our Sutton Fields site in Hull, we have unfortunately started a consultation process with colleagues whose roles are at risk of redundancy.
“We understand this is a very difficult time for all those involved and will work with them to identify other job opportunities at other Cranswick sites in the area.”
