Collision claims life of 65-year-old cyclist near Fridaythorpe
Police seek witnesses and dashcam footage from the scene
A tragic road traffic collision on the A166 at Fridaythorpe has resulted in the death of a 65-year-old cyclist today.
The incident occurred at approximately 10.15am at the junction of Pefham Lane, involving the cyclist and two motorcycles.
Emergency services responded to the scene, but the woman, whose family has been notified, sadly died from her injuries.
The family is receiving support from specialised officers as they navigate this difficult period.
Authorities are urging anyone who might have been present at the location around the time of the collision or has dashcam footage, to contact them.
