Books hidden around East Yorkshire to celebrate World Book Night
East Riding libraries will provide hints about the locations of hidden books
People are being invited to get involved in a 'treasure hunt' to find books hidden across East Yorkshire.
It's part of efforts to mark World Book Night, with the county's library service providing clues on social media.
World Book Night is a national event that aims to encourage adults to start reading and celebrate the impact of books on people's lives.
"We want people to interact with other"
Hayley Nicholson, librarian, said: “We’re so excited to be bringing the joy of reading to the whole East Riding once again, especially after how much people enjoyed the search for our stories last year.
“Stories are such a worthwhile thing to share, and we can’t wait to see all the lucky people who find our hidden books
"We want people to interact with others in their community too, so once you’ve read your found book, you can pass it on to a friend, family member, or even a complete stranger”.
