Two bikes have been seized by police - after they were spotted being ridden erratically on the North Yorkshire/East Riding border.

Officers say they were travelling in excess of 100mph on the A166 between Fridaythorpe and Stamford Bridge on Sunday (26th April) at around 4pm.

The bikes were stopped and the riders reported for speeding and riding without due car and attention.

Police say: "Riding motorcycles like this will not be tolerated on our patch; speeding and riding in this manner have no place on our roads, and we will always encourage people to stay safe and ride with consideration for other road users.

"If you witness driving offences and catch them on dashcam, please send the footage to us through Operation Snap."
