A man in his 20s is in hospital after a stabbing in Derbyshire.
The incident occurred at a set of flats in Town Street, in Sandiacre, at around 11:30pm last night when the East Midlands Ambulance Service reported that a man had been stabbed.
Police officers attended the scene and found the injured man.
Another man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
The arrested man was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Meanwhile, the man in his 20s remains in a serious but stable condition.
A police presence continues at the property in Town Street, with officers and staff working in the area as they gather more information about the incident.
