Police name woman found dead inside Derbyshire property

A woman found dead at a property in south Derbyshire has been named.
Officers were called to reports that a woman had been found with stab wounds at a property in The Crest, Linton, Swadlincote, at just after 2.30pm on Sunday 21 June.
Joan Hardy was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 72-year-old’s family have been made aware and are being supported by specialist officers.
Police say their thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
A 52-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
A scene remains at the house and is expected to be in place for a number of days.
Officers have also been out in the community making house to house calls and reviewing CCTV.
Members of the public can expect to see an increased police presence in the area whilst we carry out our enquiries.
Police are keen to hear from any residents or neighbours who saw anyone coming or going from the property on Saturday or Sunday.
Officers would also like to hear from anyone who has CCTV, Ring doorbell or dash cam footage which covers The Crest between 12.01am on Saturday (20 June) and 3pm on Sunday (21 June) and have not already spoken with officers.
