Police seek information following knife attack in St Ann's area

Detectives are investigating after two men sustained knife wounds during a street fight in St Ann's, Nottingham.

Emergency services responded to reports of a stabbing in Heskey Walk around 12.15am on Friday, 31st July.

Officers found two men with knife injuries, believed to have been attacked by a third man.

Both men, aged in their 30s, were admitted to hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.

Detectives have been working to establish the circumstances of the incident through CCTV analysis and local inquiries.

Detective Inspector Lisa Jones of Nottinghamshire Police said, "We have been working hard to understand what happened during this incident.

"The two victims were waiting in the street when they were attacked.

"One of the men needed emergency surgery, and it is fortunate both were not more seriously harmed.

"Our CCTV and other local inquiries have been extensive, but we are also asking for the public's help.

"If you have any information, or relevant CCTV, doorbell, mobile phone, or dashcam footage, please get in touch without delay."
