Man seriously injured after attack in Nottingham
A man has been left with serious head injuries following an attack in Nottingham.
A man is being treated for serious head injuries following an attack in St Ann's, Nottingham.
The 35-year-old is in a critical condition in hospital.
The assault happened on Harlaxton Walk at around 4:20pm yesterday (12 Aug).
A cordon is in place while police investigate what happened.
DI Paul Shortt, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "Officers are working swiftly to establish the full circumstances of this incident.
"We recognise that this will be concerning for the local community, and our teams are working hard to identify the person responsible as quickly as possible.
"One man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
"Our CCTV and other local inquiries continue, but we are also asking for the public's help.
"Were you in the area at the time? Did you see or hear something? If you have any information, however minor you may think it is, or other CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage, please get in touch with us without delay."
