Man charged with murdering his Mum in Derbyshire
It happened last month near Swadlincote
A 52-year-old man has been charged with murdering his mother last month.
Joan Hardy was pronounced dead at the scene after being found with stab wounds at a property in The Crest, Linton, near Swadlincote, Derbyshire, on Sunday June 21.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Derbyshire Constabulary said the 72-year-old’s son, Adrian Hardy, of The Crest, has now been charged with her murder.
He is due to appear before Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court, the force said.
