Man in his 20s assaulted in Swadlincote park
Witnesses urged to come forward by police
A man in his 20s was assaulted by a group of men in Eureka Park, Swadlincote on Thursday afternoon.
The attack occurred at the back of Holmes Court around 2.50pm on 23rd July.
The victim suffered injuries to his back and the side of his face after being approached by several men.
Following the incident, patrols have been increased in the area.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
They are particularly interested in speaking to people with dash cam, CCTV, or Ring doorbell footage of the area who haven't already been in contact.
