In League One, Sheffield Wednesday will play their first match under new owners Arise Capital Partners at Leyton Orient.

Bromley, entering the third tier for the first time, will take on Barnsley, and relegated Oxford will face MK Dons at home in a lunchtime fixture.

Elsewhere in League Two, York will mark their return to the EFL after a 10-year gap with a home game against Bristol Rovers.

Promoted Rochdale will travel to Newport, while relegated Rotherham will visit Cheltenham at the start of their journey in the fourth tier since 2013.

The season opener in the Championship sees relegated Wolves hosting Blackburn at Molineux on Friday, 14th August.
