Body of woman found in Nottinghamshire town

The body of a woman has been found in a property in Kimberley, Nottinghamshire.

Emergency services were called to Bassett Close at around 11am yesterday (1 June).

Nottinghamshire Police said: "A woman, in her 40s, was found dead at the address and a team of officers were investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.

"A post mortem was conducted yesterday evening and the cause of death is non-suspicious. A report will now be prepared for the coroner."
