A school caretaker has been jailed after filming girls using a changing room in a Nottingham school.

Joshua Snow, 28, used his phone to spy on the teenagers on 5 March 2025.

The victims reported seeing a phone placed above the locked door.

CCTV footage showed Snow in the corridor at that moment. He initially denied wrongdoing, saying he was in the area, but he was using his phone to check emails.

Initial investigations revealed Snow had no deleted images older than 6 March – the day after the offence had taken place.

Police inquiries also showed the phone’s camera had been in use at that time.

Police Constable Matthew Holden, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was an appalling breach of trust and invasion of privacy by a trusted member of staff at a school.

“Snow initially tried to deny his offending but analysis of his phone proved these protestations were lies.

“He was left with no alternative but to admit what he had done.

“We worked hard on the investigation and I’d like to thank the young victims who have been very brave in giving statements and supporting the investigation.

“One of the girls attended court and courageously detailed the impact the incident has had on her.”

Snow, of Radcliffe-on-Trent, eventually pleaded guilty to two counts of voyeurism and sentenced to nine months in prison. He is also subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for 10 years.
