Roads closed near De Montfort University following incident

Police have closed several roads close to De Montfort University following an incident.
It's been reported emergency services were on Oxford Street from 6pm on Tuesday (3 February).
We've contacted Leicestershire Police for more details - but the exact nature of the incident is not yet known.
The force has issued the following details:
'Due to police scene preservation in place following an incident in Oxford Street, Leicester, on Tuesday (3 February), there are a number of road closures in place.
'These closures are expected to remain on for a number of hours meaning there will be traffic disruption in the area during the morning rush hour.
'Motorist travelling into the city are advised to avoid the area if possible. If you are travelling into the city, please allow extra time.
'The roads are closed to vehicles and pedestrians.
'The road closures currently in place are:
- Infirmary Road at the junction with Aylestone Road
- Infirmary Road, Infirmary Square and Oxford Street to the junction of Newarke Street
- No access to Infirmary Road by turning right from Welford Road. NHS staff will be given access to the hospital car park but will need to provide their ID to officers at the scene
- Carlton Street, York Road and Lower Brown Street
- The Gateway and Gosling Street'
