The arrests were made last night as part of a continuing police operation investigating incidents that occurred on 2nd June in Cort Crescent, Braunstone, and on 9th June in Brascote Lane, Newbold Verdon, and Station Road, Glenfield.

A 29-year-old man and a 38-year-old man were apprehended on suspicion of conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life.

Previously, three individuals had been arrested in connection with these events:

A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life and has since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

A 34-year-old woman was taken in on suspicion of conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life, as well as suspicion of assisting an offender. She is currently on police bail regarding the firearm charge and under investigation for the assisting charge.
