Four now arrested as part of the St Ann's investigation

Four suspects have now been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into a serious assault in St Ann's.
A man was rushed to hospital for treatment after sustaining potentially life-altering injuries in the attack last Wednesday (12 August).
The 35-year-old victim sustained serious head injuries after being struck with a blunt object several times – around 4.20pm – in Harlaxton Walk.
Detectives have been conducting extensive door-to-door and CCTV inquiries within the community since the attack happened in a bid to establish who was responsible.
This investigative work has resulted in officers making a series of arrests over the last few days, with one suspect detained on Sunday (16 August), another on Monday (17 August), and two more on Tuesday (18 August).
Each of the four suspects – men aged 28, 29, 48 and 61 – were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and have since been released on bail with strict conditions.
Despite the quadruple arrest, detectives are continuing to investigate details of the attack, so have once again issued a plea to the public for anyone who knows anything to come forward immediately.
Detective Sergeant Christophe Sutton, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
"While it is pleasing to be able to provide this update about the arrests we've made so far, we want to make it clear that our inquiries into this incident are still very much ongoing.
"This was a horrible assault on a man in the street that left him with serious head injuries that could potentially impact him for the rest of his life.
"Bearing all of this in mind, it is incredibly important that we have all the facts about what happened, so that we can bring anyone responsible for causing those injuries to justice.
"The public can help us on that front by telling us anything they know, that they've seen, or that they’ve heard about this incident.
"We'd also ask that anyone who thinks they might have inadvertently recorded footage of what happened – whether CCTV, doorbell, phone, or dash-cam – please shares that too.
"Any piece of information, however small or insignificant it might seem, could really assist our investigation."
