The investigation is being overseen by detectives working in the force’s Complex Investigation Team (CIT).
Detective Sergeant Adrian Davies, from the CIT, said: “Our investigation remains ongoing as we work to understand what happened in Sturdee Road on Friday night.
“We are still appealing for people to come forward if they saw or heard anything or have any information or video footage that could assist our investigation.
“We believe the stabbing happened shortly before 9.15pm.
"It was still light at that time and with the weather being very warm there were probably quite a few people who were in the area or in their gardens.
"If you saw something or heard something that might help with our investigation, please contact us.
"If you live in the area and have CCTV – please check the footage.
"You may have captured something useful.
“I am also keen for anyone who was driving along Sturdee Road around the time of the incident, and has a dash cam, to come forward.”
