Man in hospital with life-threatening injuries after Derby car crash
Police are appealing for witnesses
A man is being treated for life-threatening injuries after a car crash in Derby on New Year's Day.
The man, in his 30s, was discovered lying in the road at around 9:15am. Police say before the collision the man was assaulted and left unconscious.
Officers say he remains in hospital.
Three people, a 39-year-old man, a 19-year-old and a 15-year-old girl, have been arrested in connection with the incident. They have all been released on bail as enquiries continue.
Derbyshire Police say they are keen to speak to anyone in the area at the time of the incident.
