Police are investigating after a man was discovered with serious injuries following an assault on Cotmanhay Road.
The incident occurred just after 12pm today.
The injured man was swiftly taken to hospital for treatment.
Two individuals, a 29-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, have been arrested in connection with the assault.
They are currently in police custody.
