A woman in her 90s is in a critical condition after being hit by a motorbike near Leicester.
Emergency services were called to Oaktree Close in Groby at around 2:20pm yesterday (4 June) where the bike collided with the pensioner and then left the scene.
Police are now appealing for information to help trace the rider.
Detective Sergeant Charlotte Mee, from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU), said: “We know the motorcycle travelled from Ratby Road into the centre of Groby prior to the collision occurring at the junction with Oaktree Close.
“I’d like to speak to anyone who saw a motorcyclist in the area at the time and in particular, any motorists who captured it on a dashcam.
“I’d like to extend my appeal to anyone who has footage captured on CCTV or a doorbell camera too. Anything you’re able to provide could help our investigation.”
