A man has been charged after a Leicestershire Police officer was struck by a car in Oakham.

A man has been charged after a police officer was struck by a car in Oakham, Leicestershire.
The officer suffered cuts and grazes when it happened on High Street on 26 January.
30-year-old Ndricim Jakupi, of no fixed abode, has been charged with assault by beating an emergency worker, dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, and driving with no insurance.
He has also been charged with stalking in an unrelated case that was reported to have happened in Hertfordshire.
Jakupi is due at Leicester Magistrates' Court today.
