An investigation is underway after multiple people sustained stab wounds inside a St Ann's flat.

The incident reportedly happened around 10.15pm on Monday (27 July) within a property in Wasnidge Walk.

Two women and a man received stab wounds during an altercation, before sustaining further injuries when they all jumped out of a window.

The man was located outside the flat in Wasnidge Walk, while the two women were found with injuries in Union Road, in Nottingham city centre.

They are now in hospital receiving treatment for injuries that could potentially be life-altering but aren't currently deemed to be life-threatening.

All three – a 27-year-old man and women aged 26 and 31 – have since been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

Chief Inspector Kylie Davies, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

"We are still in the early stages of our investigation into this complex incident but can confirm that three suspects have now been arrested.

"All three are currently receiving treatment in hospital, having appeared to have sustained stab wounds and other injuries at various stages of this incident, which was isolated and poses no threat to the wider public.

"As I say, we're still trying to piece together exactly what happened here, so in the meantime, we'd ask people to please share any information they have, however small or insignificant it may seem.

"In addition to anyone who witnessed this take place, we also want to hear from anyone who has CCTV, doorbell, dash-cam, or mobile phone footage that could assist our ongoing inquiries."
