A woman has been charged after a footballer lost his leg as a result of a crash on the M27 in Hampshire.
Former Bournemouth striker Jordan Chiedozie was changing a tyre on the hard shoulder of the M27 near Ower on February 1 when he was hit by a car.
Chiedozie was travelling back from playing a Southern League game for Bashley FC.
He was put into an induced coma following the crash.
Anna Malgorzata Bogusiewicz, 45, of Park Avenue in Wraysbury, Berkshire has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving and drink driving.
She will appear at Southampton Crown Court on Monday 1 December.
