Three men found guilty of the attempted murder and kidnap of a man from Merthyr

Three men have been found guilty of the attempted murder and kidnap of a man from Merthyr.

Just after 10pm on Monday, February 10, a 28-year-old man frompresented at hospital with multiple stab wounds.

Police established the victim had been forced into a vehicle and assaulted.

Following a four-week trial at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court, Tyshane Brown, 30, from Weymouth; George Miles-Williams, 23, from Hereford, and Luke Williams, 19, from Hereford, have all been found guilty of the following offences: Attempted murder; Section 18 grievous bodily harm; Kidnap; Blackmail; Possession of a firearm; and Possession of a bladed article.

A 23-year-old man from Hereford was found not guilty of all offences.

The three men will appear at Merthyr Crown Court for sentencing on Friday, October 3.
