Exeter City's St James Park is set to honour club legend Dick Pym with the renaming of its iconic Jungle Path.

The club has acquired the land known as Jungle Path from Network Rail, enabled by the generosity of former Chairman Richard Pym and led by Club Director Andrew Rothwell.

Richard Pym's grandfather, Dick Pym, made over 200 appearances for the Grecians, contributing significantly to the club's history, including a tour of South America and playing for Bolton Wanderers.

The Jungle Path will now be known as Dick Pym Way in recognition of Richard's donation and the Pym family's longstanding association with the club.

The club and the Trust are collaborating with Paul Farley from the Exeter City Museum to install an information board along Dick Pym Way.

A formal unveiling ceremony is planned for early in the 2026/27 League Two season.
