A man arrested in Bournemouth earlier this week on suspicion of people smuggling has been charged say Dorset Police.

Ibrahim Sollaku - who's 33 and from Priory Road in Southampton - was one of three people arrested on Wednesday.

He's due before Poole Magistrates today (Fri 7 Nov) accused of assisting unlawful immigration into the UK as well as possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

He was held as part of a joint operation involving the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit and law enforcement from Belgium.

A second man arrested in Bournemouth on suspicion of the some offence has been bailed by police.
