Man to appear in court over reported Sherborne arson
Fire ignited near police station boiler room in early hours
A 36-year-old man has been charged with arson following a small fire reported at Sherborne Police Station in the early hours of 26th April 2026.
The fire started at around 3.30am outside the boiler room of the station but did not spread further and no one was injured.
Following a police enquiry, the suspect was arrested and charged.
He is set to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on 30th October 2026 to answer the charges.
